Hiking in the Lyngen Alps
In Lyngen, the sea and the mountains are never far apart. Our routes lead through birch forests, along the coast and up to viewpoints above the fjords. In summer, we have the long northern light; in autumn, the forests change colour and, with a little luck, the northern lights appear after dark.
I have been hiking in the Lyngen Alps for many years. I choose our routes to suit the weather, the terrain and the group. You can discover Lyngen on longer mountain hikes or take more time simply to be outdoors on our shorter autumn hikes.
In Norway, there is a word for this: friluftsliv. Set out, stop along the way, take a break by the fjord. Not every good day needs a summit. Which of our hiking trips suits you depends on how you want to spend your time outdoors.
