Lonely and unspoilt under the midnight sun
Hiking in the Lyngen Alps
Far out. Completely at home.
Guided hikes in the Lyngen Alps - between glacier, fjord and unspoilt wilderness.
Quiet, unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful. Accompanied by the special light of the midnight sun, which makes the day seem endless.
For explorers with peace in their hearts and the desire to experience real adventure.
If you come to the Lyngen Alps, you're not looking for records - you're looking for the real thing. Here, north of the Arctic Circle, rugged peaks meet glistening fjords, glaciers meet secluded valleys. Every step takes you further out - and closer to yourself at the same time.
Our hikes are aimed at people who have the time and leisure to really experience the landscape. No crowds, no marked paths - just clear air, soft light and the feeling of being out and about in an unspoilt world.
Sometimes the path leads to a quiet panoramic peak above the sea, sometimes along a glacial river into a remote high valley.
The silence up here is powerful. And if you allow it, you can feel what it means to really be outdoors.
I like to design the tour programme flexibly, adapted to the weather conditions and the wishes and fitness level of the group. We can also include shorter or longer tours with glacier ascents.

Inquiry
During the ski touring weeks, I adapt the difficulty of the descents and tours to the requirements and ability of the group. However, a confident parallel turn in different types of snow and fluent skiing in terrain with a gradient of up to 35 degrees are essential to really enjoy the tours. We cover an average of 1000 metres of ascent, which takes us around 3 hours.
